The Little Things

Every once in a while life throws those wonderful, peaceful, happy, normal days my way. No one hits my car, or eggs it, or pukes in it. No one I know dies, or tries to kill me. I don't get any crazy phone calls from people that end up absorbing my whole day. Nothing I love breaking, no broken ribs and bruised tailbones. Just a beautiful, chilly winter day to spend at my leisure. Some lite shopping with my sister, a good, although expensive lunch at Iceburg. The usual past time of yelling at Itunes, trying to will it to do what I want of it. Which in case you were wondering never works... Damn itunes... And then a trip out into the world do take some pictures with my my new Nikon Coolpix S570 I got for christmas. My sister and I went down to Whitman Campus and took pictures of the dead trees and all the waterfalls they have. I love dead trees, so much more than live ones. The live ones are far too overrated. We walked all around, sister fell, but only once; which for us is a new record I think. We are both horribly uncoordinated.... It was very nice, there were tons of ducts, which are a great love of mine. And they have a couple of totem poles around campus that are pretty swell. I love Whitman, and if I lived the life of anyone else, I would say I plan to attend it some day... But I have found that dreams only exsist to be crushed and cause people pain... so I won't day that. Dinner with the family, Annie made Chinese food and chocolate mousse for dinner. De-fucking-licious as always. Gianna was at her grandma's house but I saw her for just a few minutes before leaving. Jason dropped my Ipod after dinner but in an unusual stroke of luck for me, nothing happened to it. It was a good day.
